The National Park Service welcomes sculptor David Purcell as the new Artist-in-Residence at Zion National Park. Mr. Purcell, from Baltimore, Maryland, will spend a month using topographical maps, observations, drawings, and photographs to create a series of sculptures inspired by the landforms of Zion National Park.
On Friday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m., Mr. Purcell will present a lecture at the Zion Lodge about his experience as Artist-in-Residence in Zion National Park.
